HYPNOANALYSIS
Hypnoanalysis
is solution-focused, brief psychotherapy which makes use
of Freud's free association technique.
The
use of hypnosis as a therapeutic tool speeds up the analytical
process and facilitates the recall of memories and feelings.
In
the first session I will introduce you to the process of
free association by using neutral examples unrelated to
the problem, until you become familiar with the method and
what is required of you during the sessions.
Sometimes unpleasant feelings can be experienced,
but with the help of the hypnotherapist you can be taught
how to successfully release and transform these negative
feelings. Hypnosis provides an excellent environment for
exposing the mental programs underlying negative habits
or destructive behaviour.
In the heightened state of awareness,
you can draw on the resources within your mind to challenge
ineffective learning and negative behaviour. You will learn
how to associate into the part of you that wants to create
more effective, positive outcomes so that you can replace
previous negative responses with positive alternatives that
will actually benefit you.
On completion of hypno-analysis, many
people report feeling an increased ability to be self reliant
and greater personal confidence. You will be able to deal
much more effectively with those things that used to be
a problem for you before.
