The Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy was established by Dr. Joseph Keaney in 1990, to fill the evident need for comprehensive, contempory and structured training of Hypnotherapy / Hypnoanalysis. Due to the numbers of qualified graduate therapists from this Advanced Diploma Training Programme developed, a Post-Graduate Association of the ICHP was later created so as to keep therapists informed, protected, supervised and to give therapists in Ireland a unified voice.
Since its birth in 1990 the ICHP has grown considerably and we now have hundreds of ICHP graduates working in successful private practices around the country.
The Institute is affiliated and our trainings accredited to the National Council of Hypnotherapy N.C.H.(UK) and the United Kingdom Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations (UKCHO).
