My Philosophy
Life is such a wonderful
gift. I believe the primary goal in life is to be happy
and joyful and to express your uniqueness.
Your dreams are important.
Each person deserves to experience a full expression of
their potential. Just imagine how powerful a place a world
is where we all feel like winners!
As a hypnotherapist and personal
development teacher, I want to help people achieve that
feeling of happiness and personal success. It doesn't matter
what your creed, age, sex, childhood background is.
If you want
to improve the quality of your life and are willing to try
something different the transformative techniques of hypnotherapy
will help you reach your goal.
Regardless of how negative you have been in the past, your
present is what you are faced with now and as you look after
yourself in the present, your future will be blessed with
the fruits of your efforts

in Cork. See
Institute
I am a member in good standing of the ICHP
and the National Guild of Hypnotists USA.I practice Hypnoanalysis
and Suggestion Therapy and produce hypnosis self help audio recordings
for dealing with common problems. I also make recordings tailored
to individual concerns.
My intention as a hypnotherapist is to help people
open up to the powerful transformative processes that exist within
their own mind and body and to teach the techniques I've learned
to those seeking a happier healthier life.
In order to bring the benefits of hypnotherapy
to the general public, I hold a number of classes and workshops
in Dublin where I introduce a variety of the dynamic techniques
for transformation. See

Professional
Training
I completed my first course of studies in 1999 when I graduated
with a BA in Literature and
Media/Communications Studies. These subjects inspired me to
examine how we express ourselves and create meaning in our
lives.
For a number of years, I worked as a teacher of English as
a foreign language. As a hypnotherapist, I am still keenly
aware of the importance of language and its expression. Words
have power.
There are words that arm and there are words
that disarm. Language and the way that we express it, deeply
affects our relationship to ourselves and others.
In continuing to explore my interest in stories and visual
art, my studies then led me to complete an MA in Film Studies
and I worked for awhile in TV & Film production. It was
my experience of the transformational power of metaphor in
Art that inspired me to train as a hypnotherapist.
My central philosophy in working with clients is to help them
awaken the power for transformation within that will bring
about a state of integration and wholeness.

Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy
ICHP
The Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy was
established by Dr. Joseph Keaney in 1990, to fill the need for
comprehensive, contemporary and structured training of Hypnotherapy
/ Hypnoanalysis.
Due to the numbers of qualified graduate therapists from this
Advanced Diploma Training Programme, a Post-Graduate Association
of the ICHP was later created so as to keep therapists informed,
protected, supervised and to give therapists in Ireland a unified
voice.
Since its birth in 1990 the ICHP has grown considerably and now
has hundreds of ICHP graduates working in successful private practices
around the country.
The Institute is affiliated with and trainings accredited to the
National Council of Hypnotherapy N.C.H.(UK) and the United Kingdom
Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations (UKCHO).
Further details of the Institute can
be got from ICHP Headquarters.
